girl in the purple socks

I often feel like the only clothes i wear are my not-so-attractive BP shirts, and when i'm not wearing those you can usually find me in a boring ol' t-shirt. So, over the weekend i decided  to venture out a little bit and get a little dressed up just because! I wore a simple white shirt, threw on my adorable grey empire-waisted dress, some very purple thigh-high socks, plain jane round toe heels and completed the outfit with a cardigan and new scarf! To many of you this may not sound like that extravagant of an outfit but to the people in my town it was pretty "out there". I just know that the groups of people i passed in Wal-Mart were saying look at that girl in the purple socks, she's so weird. But i really didn't care, i thought the outfit was adorable. I wish i could have showed it off more but unfortunately my saturday was uneventful so the only people that saw it were my nana, my mom and the future in-laws. Sunday was a little more exciting, i had originally had a whole day planned but my younger brother put a damper on that. I had started taking his senior pictures a couple months ago and told him we would finish them up in the fall because of all the beautiful colors and i had an  amazing spot picked out to take them. Well when he found out i had some shopping on the agenda as well he totally bailed. Oh well, his loss i guess. My shopping day wasn't exactly successful but i did pick up a few new pairs of tights, $5 shoes (i love sales) and the most adorable coat ever!! When i saw it i fell in love, i almost didn't want to look at the price tag because i shouldn't have been shopping to begin with but when my mom said it was only $27.50 i just couldn't pass it up! I cant wait for it to get cold enough for me to wear it.

Hi lovelies! I officially started packing today, turns out i dont have anywhere near the amount of boxes for all my stuff! I honestly didnt think i had very much...oh how wrong i was!

I've been doing pretty good on motivating myself to get up and exercise  everyday, yay me! Ha ha! Hopefully i can stick with it long enough to see results!

My boss brought in the kittens we've been takin care of for the past month, their momma took off so its time to find them some good homes. They are absolutely adorable!!! Wish they stayed tiny forever, I'd probably take them all turn into a crazy "kitty" lady!!

Mmm mmm mmmmmm!

Hi lovelies! Last night i made homemade chicken noodle soup for the first time, and i must admit it tasted pretty damn good! I'm not much of a cook but with the brand new kitchen im going to have it just a couple weeks i'd definitely like to explore the cooking world! Just last friday i gave cake pops a shot...man was that a challenge! They didnt turn out exactly how i expected but then again when you are looking at a picture off the internet it usually never does! But, they were very cute and everyone at the baby shower loved them! 

So i guess the whole process was a success! Maybe if i keep on trying ill get them just the way i want them! Time for work! Bye for now!

Hi darlings! I'm alexsha and this is my new spot to let everything out! sometimes i have way too many things floatin' around in my head, i figured this would be the perfect way to set them free! i have been employed at a BP gas station for the past three years, not exactly what i had planned for myself, but i graduated high school, got to college and thought oh shit what do i want to do with my life! So i am now 23 years old and still haven't quite got it all figured out yet. i am engaged to a wonderful boy ryan and we are currently waiting to move into our first house together with our adorable little partner in crime thomas j (our 2 year old spoiled rotten chi-pom)! i am sooooo very excited about it, i only wish i had the money to do all the ideas i've had stirring in my head since this all began! anyway...i plan to share all my crazy, frustrating, emotional, silly, wonderful stories with all of you. hope you enjoy!!!!
